蒸し暑い夜はジャズ
I don't exactly remember, but I believe it was the early summer when I was a high school student, the same damn humid and hot evening that I first heard Chet Baker. Since then Jazz becomes the music of summer for me. It was really humid and hot evening when I was at the Preservation Hall, on the Bourbon Street of New Orleans, LA. The sound was so, summer. Cool players played hot.
たしか高校生ぐらいの、今日のようにやたら蒸し暑い日に初めてチェットベイカーを聞いて以来、夏、特にこのクソ蒸し暑い夏の夜はJazzなんですね。Preservation Hall行ったときも蒸し暑かったなぁ。Jazzって蒸し暑いですよね。
So, it should not be a surprise if I clicked the Gyao link to see the concert by Yuji Ono and Lupintic Five. They performed at Motion Blue Yokohama on this May. So wanted to be there.
んなわけで、こういう日にGyaoで大野雄二のコンサートが見られるってのを聞いて、クリックしないわけがないんです。Motion Blueでやったんだって。行きたかったなぁ。
チェットベイカーはなんたってLet's Get Lostですよね。
